The Division of 大学参与 connects community and university partners to address the most pressing challenges in the communities we serve, prepare Indiana State students for rewarding careers and civic leadership, and support lifelong learning throughout west-central Indiana.

The 职业中心 prepares students and alumni to make career-related decisions, find internships and full-time employment, 满足工作场所的期望. Our services and programs help students develop career goals, 为找工作做好准备, and connect directly with employers both on campus and in the workplace. We work directly with employers to help them find talented interns and employees to meet their growing needs.
The Sycamore Innovation Lab supports Sycamore entrepreneurs through programming and 1-on-1 coaching. The Lab also employees a student team who actively works with small local businesses and entrepreneurs who need business development support around graphic design, 市场研究, 网站的评论, 以及社交媒体策划.
We also support student employment while students are on-campus. We connect students to opportunities both on campus and in the community through work study and our Community Works program.

The Center for 社区参与 coordinates and supports the University’s nationally-recognized volunteer and service-learning activities. Our programs and services include intensive local and travel-based service programs, 上门服务项目, 为期一天的活动, and referrals for individuals who are interested in community service. We offer a mini-grant program to support course-based service-learning and student organization community service activities. 社区参与 is the first stop for community partners that are looking for volunteers or other support from the University.

The 社区艺术学院 is the only comprehensive educational outreach of its kind in Indiana, and one of a very few in the United States. The CSA provides hands-on arts-learning experiences for infants through senior citizens in the Wabash Valley and surrounding areas while providing ISU students who are majoring in the arts outstanding opportunities for experiential learning through teaching.

Hulman中心 and 事件服务 manage several public venues and bring world class entertainment and speakers to the Indiana State campus.
事件服务 schedules campus venues and provides support services for events ranging from small meetings to elegant wedding receptions to extravagant catered fundraisers.
The Hulman中心 is a multi-purpose civic center and home of Sycamore 篮球. The facility includes a conference center that seats up to 300 and the main floor which seats up to 1,000. Common uses of the Hulman中心 include trade shows, 大的晚餐, 音乐会和娱乐活动, 大型装配.
The Performing Art Series provides diverse, high quality entertainment to the university and Terre Haute communities.

The 可持续发展办公室 engages campus and community partners to improve the environment and improve the quality of life in the Wabash Valley through education, 合作项目, 和研究. We also monitor and report the University’s progress toward achieving campus-wide sustainability goals.

The Indiana State University Sycamore户外中心 is a multi-use outdoor facility designed to accommodate educational and recreational programs for campus groups and the community at large. The Sycamore户外中心 is 80 acres of woods, trails and lakes located approximately 18 miles east of Terre Haute.
